IT'S OK...TO NOT BE OK
Grief. That word alone is a tough pill to accept. There are five stages of grieving: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. All of these stages are a part of the framework that makes up our learning of how to live with the one we lost. They are tools to help us frame and identify what we may be feeling. But they are not stops on some linear timeline in grief.
We want to be able to offer some resources that can be extremely beneficial during a period of grieving. It is vital to have a support system that you can truly rely on as you grieve. A shoulder to cry or an ear to hear helps the process.
Feel free to use any of these resources to help mend your broken heart and know that it IS ok to cry - but, it is NOT ok to become stagnant. Learn how to move forward in life during this process. Your heart needs you to press on.
